My approach combines cinematic lighting techniques from my Disney and Pixar background with a focus on authentic human connection. I create a comfortable environment where your true personality shines through, resulting in portraits that are both visually striking and emotionally resonant. Each session balances technical excellence with genuine expression to tell your unique story.

2. How do you help clients feel comfortable in front of the camera?

I've developed a process that puts even camera-shy people at ease. We start with a pre-session consultation to understand your preferences. During the shoot, I guide you with clear direction while maintaining natural conversation. I demonstrate poses myself and focus on creating genuine moments rather than stiff poses. Most clients tell me they forget the camera is even there!

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

You can reschedule with no penalty up to 7 days before our session. For changes with less than 7 days' notice, the retainer fee is non-refundable but can be applied to a future session within 6 months. For illness or emergencies, I'm always willing to work with you to find a solution. Your satisfaction is my priority.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

All portrait packages include high-resolution digital images with a personal use license. I also offer professional printing services through trusted lab partners for those who want physical prints, custom albums, or wall art collections. While digital files preserve your memories, tangible prints bring your images to life in your space and you can order these directly through your client gallery with the deliverables.

5. How far in advance should I book my session?

For standard portrait sessions, I recommend booking 2-3 weeks in advance. For events or commercial projects, a 1-2 month booking is ideal. If you have a specific date in mind, earlier is always better! It really depends, so just send me a message and we can start the conversation.

6. What should I wear for my portrait session?

I recommend solid colors or subtle patterns that complement your skin tone and reflect your style. Layers and textures add dimension to your portraits. Most importantly, choose outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. After booking, I'll send a detailed prep guide and am happy to review outfit options before your session.

7. How do we get started working together?

The process begins with a conversation about your vision. Once we determine the right package, I'll send a contract and invoice for the retainer fee (50% of your package) to secure your date. We'll then schedule a pre-session consultation to plan all details from location to wardrobe. I'm here to ensure you feel prepared and excited throughout the process.

8. Do you offer payment plans or accept different payment methods?

Yes! Standard payment is a 50% retainer upon booking with the balance due on session day. For packages over $500, we can talk about flexible payment plans. I accept credit cards and Apple Pay too. Clients who book multiple services or refer friends also receive special incentives through my "Share the Light" program. Just let me know what works best for you!
